Valjevo Film Festival (Valjevski filmski susreti) is a regional event celebrating the best of Balkan cinema, established to revive the cinematic culture in Valjevo after years without a local theater. The festival features award-winning feature and short films, alongside workshops, panels, and educational programs, all free to the public.

Focused on supporting emerging talent, the festival honors excellence with awards like the Leman Prize and the Young Author Award, fostering a vibrant community of filmmakers and film lovers alike. Its minimalist visual identity, featuring a retro camera formed from Cyrillic initials (VFS), reflects both tradition and modern creativity.
