Overview:

HAYAT is a house shaped by time, by the quiet rituals of morning and the shared warmth of evenings, by shifting seasons, and by lives that grow. Designed to respond to the natural rhythms of the day, the year, and the human journey, the house offers a spatial choreography that reflects the evolving needs of a contemporary Emirati household.

At its heart, the house embraces flexibility. Its layout allows for transformation: intimate corners for solitude, a courtyard for gathering, and modular extensions that anticipate future generations or shifting household formats. Walls frame privacy, while large openings dissolve the boundaries between inside and out, allowing light, air, and greenery to become architectural elements in themselves.

While deeply personal, the house is not isolated. It sits within a broader spatial narrative, a neighborhood vision where houses coexist with communal gardens, shared moments, and spaces designed to encourage connection beyond the threshold. HAYAT is not just a house, it is a living framework, one that adapts, shelters, and celebrates the flow of life.
