Overview:

Aqueduct is a Climate Change Monitoring Center that offers a contemporary spatial and typological interpretation of traditional aqueducts. This ephemeral infrastructural facility enhances the functionality of the park zone within and alongside the Sava Blocks in New Belgrade through its strategic positioning and design.

Designed to integrate existing functions of education, sports, and recreation, the Aqueduct complements urban housing by promoting the influence of natural water and green spaces while facilitating the flow of human movement. The scope of this intervention aligns with the broader concept of water as a vital element in urban life, reinforcing the connection between people and their environment.

Symbolizing infrastructure and water – an essential element of life – the Aqueduct serves as a vital resource in addressing climate change while enriching the urban landscape.
