In this poem I wrote as a first-grader during the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia, I reflect on the impact of war on children. Through vivid imagery and heartfelt emotions, I contrast the destructive nature of missiles with the innocence of childhood, advocating for joy and peace over conflict.
